But what about sites like Inbound.org, Reddit, Growth Hackers, Quibb and Hacker News? The easiest way to drive more traffic to your content is by posting in these places. Anytime you create a new piece of content, find out where the people who would be interested in it are hanging out and post it there. Reddit is particularly important. Writing about fitness? Find a way to post it to r/fitness or r/crossfit without be overly promotional. Writing about startups and entrepreneurship? Pose a question to r/entrepreneur. r/podcast has by hands down the best resource for me in launching [Tech In Boston](http://www.techinboston.co/) and [The Growth Show](https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-growth-show/id963131164?mt=2). Here’s why: some of the most engaged and vocal people you are trying to target probably hang out on Reddit. It takes a certain type of fitness junky to care enough to participate in an online forum about that topic. Those are the people who could be huge advocates for you. Here’s an example of something I posted to [r/entrepeneur](http://www.reddit.com/r/entrepreneur). Not overly promotional, but still was able to get a link in there. This made it to the front page of the subreddit which was 120,000 subscribers. Nothing I've ever posted to Facebook, Twitter ot LinkedIn has had 80 comments, RT's, Likes, etc. ![ScreenShot2015-03-04at4.37.00PM](https://470553.hs-sites.com/hs-fs/hub/470553/file-2562723441.png) It takes time and effort, but the traffic numbers and engagement make it worth it. In fact -- I’m confident that you’d see more traffic if you stopped posting on Facebook entirely and spent all of that time posting and commenting in forums.
